Not a brochure. The surfaces we actually prepped, coated and cleaned up after.
Everything below came off a WCS Prime Services job in Sarasota, Bradenton, Lakewood Ranch and the towns around them. No stock images, no paint-brochure shots, no rooms built on a computer. We do not publish the homeowner's name, the address or the community — you see the work, not the family.
The mix is what painting really looks like on this coast. Exteriors where salt air has chalked the finish to a powder and the west wall has opened into alligator cracking. Stucco hairline cracks that get filled and run with elastomeric caulk before a coat goes anywhere near them. Soffit and fascia that went soft before anyone looked up. Lanai ceilings and pool cage screens that need washing instead of paint. Tongue-and-groove pine and cedar. Kitchen cabinets in thermofoil, laminate, oak and maple. Ceilings where the knockdown or orange peel has to be matched so the patch disappears, and the occasional Level 5 wall where the afternoon light rakes across it and hides nothing.
Interior or exterior, each of these started the same way. Wendel came out, walked the home with the owner, measured, and left a written estimate with a fixed price. He is on every job. Job by Job, the Same Frame Twice

The label under each card tells you the type of work, the surface it went on, and the part of the process that decided how it came out — because on a repaint, prep is what you are actually buying. We do not name the homeowner, the street or the neighborhood on any of these.

Single Frames
Three Jobs Without a Before Frame
Not every job gets photographed twice. These three are one frame each, and we would rather label them than pretend.
Door and trim refinishing
French doors stripped, masked and sprayed to a smooth satin, with no brush marks left in the panels.
Pool deck coating
Concrete degreased, cracks repaired, then a textured, slip-resistant coating built for sun and pool chemicals.
Pressure washing, concrete driveway
Shot mid-job: low-pressure soft wash that lifts algae and mildew without cutting into the surface.
How We Photograph
Shot on Site, Not Staged
The photos are taken by us while we are standing on the job — phone in one hand, roller in the other. When a job has a before frame, it goes up before the drop cloths come out, and the after frame is shot from the same spot once the last piece of trim is dry. On the rest, you are seeing the work in progress — half the surface done, half of it still the way we found it.
We do not retouch color. A wall that looks warm in a photo is warm in the room, and the light in a Florida home moves a color further than any filter would. We do not shoot a half-finished room and call it done, and we do not fill a gallery about our work with somebody else's work or a manufacturer's brochure image.
We also leave out anything that would identify a home — the address, the family name, the community. That is why the captions describe the type of job and the surface instead of the street it sits on.
If a photo here matches what you have, point at it when we come out. Wendel will check the surface in person, because a thermofoil door, an oak door and a bare drywall ceiling each need a different primer, and the estimate has to say which one you are getting.

Can I get the same finish I see in one of these photos?
Usually yes, but the answer comes from your surfaces, not from the photo. Thermofoil cabinet doors need a different bonding primer than oak. A wall with alligator cracking needs different prep than one with stucco hairline cracks, and a knockdown ceiling has to be matched before it is painted or the patch will show. Point at the photo when Wendel comes out. He checks what you actually have, then writes the prep, the product and the number of coats into the estimate with a fixed price.

We are based in Sarasota, work across Manatee County, and travel up to about 70 miles — Bradenton, Lakewood Ranch, Palmetto, Parrish, Ellenton, Venice, North Port, Siesta Key and Longboat Key included.
